Some people may think our prices are a little high for our horses. Sure, you can find a broke horse cheaper somewhere else, but can you be sure of what you are getting? A lot of "broke" horses out there have been "cowboyed" for 30 days and sold as broke for anyone to ride. Others are older horses that are set in their ways and may have bad habits or vices to be worked out. We dont cowboy our horses, we train them. They are trained to be respectful and willing partners.
What we offer is young, natural horsemanship trained horses that are ready for a permanent home and a job. We wont knowingly sell one of our horses to a horse trader who is going to resell it at an auction or to another trader. We spend too much time with and care too much for our horses to allow them to get lost in the system like that.
While there is no such thing as the "perfect horse", each of our horses is closely scrutinized. We strive to train our horses to be trail ready and desensitized to as much as possible. They spend MANY hours out on trails both alone and with other horses going over various obstacles, water, and up and down steep inclines. Some of our horses are registered and some are not. Papers dont make a good horse. Conformation, disposition, experience, and a willing attitude combined with training that encourages your horse to be a willing partner instead of a submissive slave make a good horse.
